  Mr. Waldrup deserves more than 5 stars. From start to end of my very serious legal issues he was always up front and honest with me. I was kept in the loop every step of the way, and I feel his fees were more than reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for legal representation. I can't express how grateful I am for him.

  Made mistake of taking the family to Boise. It was approximately 2 miles over the border when we were pulled over in a classic set up border sting and thoroughly traumatized by Idaho's finest - with police dogs going in the car with our autistic toddler and everything. I gave them my lousy gram of weed and they gave me a ticket. Turns out they take this stuff REALLY seriously in Idaho. I found out they expected me to return to the state for hearings, do community service (in Idaho) and possible jail time. Called a bunch of lawyers and interviewed them. Michael was obviously leagues ahead of the rest in knowledge and skill. He cost a little more but since he was the ONLY atty who said I didn't have to return to Idaho in the end the overall cost was much much less. Ended up with a tiny tap on the nose fine. Bless Michael Waldrup, I'd recommend him to anyone.

  I had criminal charges brought against me by the Sandpoint Police Department a short time ago and while I was confident that I was innocent of the charges, the nature of the offense along with some horror stories I had heard about the local justice system forced me to seek counsel. I first met Mr. Waldrup playing ultimate frisbee at Memorial Park about fifteen years ago. Ultimate is a very physically demanding game and when I observed Mike's tenacity, aggressiveness, and take no prisoner's style of play I tried to make sure that I was always on his team. He also has extensive ties to the community with a local knowledge that can only be attained from being born and raised here. As our case dragged on over an extended period I gained a little more confidence every day because of the consistency I was observing with he and his staff. Phone calls were either answered or returned promptly and I always had the feeling that my case was given a top priority. Mr. Waldrop developed a defense strategy that resulted in the prosecuting attorney asking for a plea agreement. He was confident in his defense, held firm throughout the negotiations, the charges were dropped and I was completely exonerated.
